Easy Access. Located just down and across the road from Pine Grove Chapel in Cologne District. To get to the chapel and cemetery, look for signs on the Leon-Baden road just west of Bethel Church and cemetery that will direct you south down a gravel road (first road to the left past Bethel Ch.) to the recently re-built Pine Grove church.

You can easily drive up into the cemetery when you visit, or park in the shade at the church and walk over to the cemetery. If you're going to be spending a few hours at the cemetery, it's nice to know that there are picnic tables under a shelter at the church that you use when you need a break from the sun (or rain, as the case may be!). This is a relatively large cemetery, and obviously well-cared for.

Of historic note, the original log building that was Pine Grove Church was first built in 1874. In the 2003, that building, tragically, burnt to the ground. Dedicated members and concerned community residents worked together and rebuilt the church, again building it as a log structure. While the logs used for the main structure were brought in by the log building manufacturer, logs from the nearby forest were milled and used on interior finish work in the church, keeping a sense of connection with its historic past.
