Comments:

Dates in Red are not inscribed on the tombstone and have either been calculated based on death date or are as a result of research on the individual by WVCPA or by family researchers who have contributed their findings to be posted on this web page.

Use of the readings of this cemetery graciously granted by Bill Wintz of the Upper Vandalia Historical Society.  The names and dates of the tombstone inscriptions without photos are taken from work done by Paul & Ruth Ellis on October 19, 1986, verified by family research done by Terry McCallister, who is also the contributor of the photos for this page.

Per the 1986 reading of this cemetery, there were also tombstones present for Edna Terry and Mary Stark.  Both were laying on the ground, and Mary's stone was also broken to an unknown degree.  Neither stone was located in Terry's visit to the cemetery on March 23, 2004.  It is possible that 17 years of soil and vegetation have covered the stones completely, but it is also possible that they have been removed from the cemetery.  If they are located, we will post photos of them here along with the West stones.
