St. Patrick's Cemetery, Scott Depot, Putnam Co., WV

Dates or text in Red are not inscribed on the tombstone and have either been calculated based on death date or are as a result of research on the individual.

The reading, photos and background research for this cemetery has been graciously provided by WVCPA contributor, Robin Kilgore. Our sincere thanks go to Robin for the really great job of preparation of the materials so that we were able to get this cemetery online as fast as we were (just a matter of a few short hours to adapt for the internet).

The cemetery is in excellent condition and still in use.  The cemetery is surrounded by a chain link fence with two unlocked gates.  There is very little parking, but enough area at each gate for two or three cars to pull off the road.

There is a beautiful sanctuary section set apart with a life-size statue of St. Patrick enclosed in glass, seating area and pulpit.
