Dates in Red are not inscribed on the tombstone and have either been calculated based on death date or are as a result of research on the individual. Our thanks to Larck descendant, Brenda
Larck Cooper, who brought this cemetery to our attention. The Larck family
is actively seeking a local person to help them maintain this small
family graveyard, and welcome any volunteers. If you can help, please
contact WVCPA at According to a 1986 reading of this cemetery by Paul and Ruth Ellis for the Upper Vandalia Historical Society, there appeared to be evidence of other unmarked graves. We have asked Mrs. Cooper for her insight into this observation, in hopes that additional names may be added here in time. |
