Atkeson Cemetery, Putnam Co., WV

Dates or information in Red type from research on the individual, dates based on age at death as indicated on the tombstone.

Atkeson Cemetery, Putnam Co., WV WVCPA thanks our dedicated volunteer, Angela Harkins, for submitting the photos for this page and assisting on the research of this cemetery. She notes that when she visited the cemetery in August 2008, it was in very poor condition, and others in her party observed fresh bear scat in the cemetery. As in all 'backwoods' cemeteries, do use caution with regard to wildlife, big and small.
