Rt. 87 to Creston Road. Drive past Creston Church and cemetery, follow
to a "Y" in the road and veer left onto a dirt road drive.
The cemetery is on the left. IMPORTANT UPDATE PER MARCH 2013: The road map for Creston Road shows that it goes on through past the cemetery, however, it actually ends before you even get to the cemetery. The cemetery is located on the Donahue property and that is the only way to get to the cemetery now. Mike Donahue is a very nice man who doesn't mind people visiting the cemetery, but it should be noted that he does sometimes have cattle in the field surrounding the cemetery and anyone visiting needs to make sure they close the green gate as they enter and leave so that his animals don't get out. A huge warning to anyone visiting this cemetery not to continue past the Donahue drive while on Creston Road, since just past the first curve is a huge boulder and drop off. This road no longer goes through. Since it is not advisable to try to drive the last section of Creston Road, you may want to park in the nearest driveway and walk down past the first curve, as most vehicles would probably not make it any farther down the road. |
