Permission
required - on private land. Landowners live in the first house west of
Manila Chapel on Manila Ridge. If unable to drive in to the cemetery,
it will be a walk of just under a half mile. Once the cemetery is
reached, the terrain is fairly level and manageable, as you can see in the
photos above. Do check with the Rutledges as to current road conditions
before driving in, if you are unable to walk the distance, to be on the safe
side.

Comments:
The McLain Cemetery is behind and to the north of
the Manila Chapel on Manila Ridge outside of Robertsburg in Putnam County. You
enter through a large gate on the west side of the Manila Chapel property. On
the gate is a sign saying 'For Cemetery Use Only'. Continue back through
fields and woods for about a half mile to the cemetery. This is on
private property so you must get permission at the 1st house on Manila
Ridge Road west of Manila Chapel. The cemetery is well kept and
maintained.
