| Accessibility: | The cemetery is located on a hill right alongside Tribble Road, barely 2 miles in from Hwy 62, directly opposite Tillis Cemetery. Access to the cemetery is gated and locked (though the gate is bent and broken and can be climbed through), and though close to the road, not the easiest terrain to get through to get to the cemetery. Not readily accessible if you're not sure of foot. | |

We visited this cemetery in mid-April 2004, and
have stopped by to look at various times of the year prior to taking photos in
2004. At every visit, the grass was high and fallen leaves deep on the
ground. Despite this, briars and fallen branches have obviously been
kept from the cemetery, so it is
apparently being maintained to some degree.
It would be good if it were easier to access for family members and
researchers - like no lock on the gate, or a path around the gate that
visitors could use. Perhaps that will happen at some time in the
future. |
