Dates in Red are not inscribed on the tombstone and have either been calculated based on death date or are as a result of research on the individual.
There are a number of unmarked graves in this cemetery - if you know of names that should be listed on this page, please contact WVCPA with the details.

On examination of aerial photos in GoogleEarth, it looks like there may be dirt road access from Rt. 21 up and over Shinn Ridge through the woods. Our contributor, Ron Miller and his brother recently attempted that route, and report that they were able to get within about a mile of the cemetery (4 wheel drive would have made it all the way, he says) and had to hike the rest of the way. The access road, according to him, is known as Bonny Knob Lane. He says that when a burial is planned, mourners generally park along the interstate and the deceased is transported by 4 wheel drive along the road. Either way, it is clear that this cemetery is not easily accessible. The Randolph family and the land owner, Mr. Parsons (who also grants access to the cemetery), try to maintain the road, but it is an understandably difficult task.
