County: Jackson
USGS Quad: Ravenswood
Coordinates: Unknown - needed
Maintained by: Unknown
Land owner: Unknown
Date added to WVCPA register: September 2008
Condition of cemetery**: Good (September 2002)
Accessibility: This cemetery is located northeast of Ripley in Jackson County.
Directions from WVCPA volunteer Keith Weekley: From Ripley, take Cr 21 north for about 4 miles to the top of the mountain or ridge which is about half way to Sandyville.  At the top of the hill on your right side just under the massive towers carrying the power lines up the hill you will find a graveled road labeled CR21/18 which is Puckett Ridge.  Take this road along the power lines for about 3 miles winding along the ridge.  The second dirt/gravel road to your right is about 100 yards long up a steep grade which you will take.  At the top of this grade turn right on the road running the ridge and follow for about 150 yards and just as it starts down the hillside on your right is the entrance to the cemetery. You can drive this road if it is dry or slightly wet, but do not try to go up the old sycamore creek road from Ripley unless you want to drive up a rock cliff! Note: The road to the cemetery can be somewhat treacherous after a rain (even a light one) unless you have a four-wheel drive jeep - the mud can get very deep.
