Accessibility:

This cemetery is located out Cedar Lakes Road southeast of Ripley.
Directions: Heading to the south end of Ripley town limits on CR-21, you will turn to your left on "CR-25 "Cedar Lakes Road".  Follow CR-25 across the first ridge, crossing the steel bridge and to the top of the second ridge.  There is a small ranch house on your right and a metal gate on your left leading into a pasture. You must lock or re-latch the gate as you enter and leave to keep the livestock from getting out.  Should you prefer to walk up the hill be sure not to block the gate entrance for others and the owner.  The grassy road up the hill is good and wide and actually has a solid gravel base to drive on.  There is plenty of room at the top of the hill to turn around.  If snowing or raining you might walk if not comfortable driving up. This cemetery is not visible from the road and there are no signs to indicate its location.  This is a very old cemetery - the earliest burial is 1851 and oldest birth date is 1775 (that is legible, anyway).

** Condition of cemetery as observed on the given date -
may not be representative of care at other times of the year
Scale: Excellent - Good - Fair - Poor - Abandoned

WVCPA extends their sincere thanks to volunteer Keith Weekley for his work on documenting this cemetery and providing the information about it. The listing that he has provided here is about 70% complete. If you know of a name that should be listed here, please let us know and we will add it. If anyone has a complete listing of the burials in this cemetery and can provide us with the additional information, we'd be grateful!
