Accessibility: | This cemetery is located on a wooded knoll overlooking the Dog Fork of the Pocatalico just west of Goldtown. Access is on foot or by 4-wheeler. The path is shorter (and steeper!) from the Boggess farm side from the Dog Fork side of the knoll, and somewhat longer (a good 5-10 minute ride by 4-wheeler in good weather) from the Harrison Ridge side up Spicewood Run. When going to the cemetery, out of courtesy, check in with the Parsons' in the house by where the logging road turns off the main road on Harrison Ridge. There is also a path there begins down by the old white farmhouse on the north side of the ridge, which was built by Alexander Harrison, Josiah's father. | |
