This cemetery is located on Locas (early references call it Locust) Ridge Road. From Main Street, Rt. 21 & Rt. 33 intersection in Ripley go northbound about two miles. Crossing Sycamore Creek you will see a road on your left (Rt. 11) that angles towards 11:00 position.  Turn left on the old Ravenswood-Ripley Pikeway.  Follow Rt. 11 for 4 to 5 miles to Crooked Run Road (CR 12/2) to your left.  This is not long after you have gone under the Interstate 77 bridge.  Turn left on Crooked Run for about three miles.  You will see an odd "A" framed house on your right with a green roof.  Here you turn right on Locas Ridge Road and go another mile to two miles until it ends at a house on a grade to the left.  This is the driveway of the Armstrong homestead but you will also see tracks to the right of the home going out into the unfenced pasture.  Follow this for about 200 yards along the tree line on your left and you will see the cemetery.  It is not well cared for and the grass and broom sage was so thick and high that is was difficult to go through. This is the old Boice homestead. A 1913 obituary called it the Boice Cemetery. Do not get out of the car at the homestead on your left, as they have a pack of dogs running around. As you drive by just yell out where your are going if anyone is there.
