County: Putnam
USGS Quad: Elmwood
Coordinates: 38.6815ºN  81.7532ºW

Land owner: Moss Chapel Congregation
Date added to WVCPA register: June 2004
Condition of cemetery**: Excellent (February 2007)
Accessibility: This cemetery is located on Jim Ridge in the northernmost portion of Putnam County, not far from where the Putnam, Jackson and Mason County lines meet. Easily accessible, with a good amount of parking just across the street at Moss Chapel.  It's handy to note that there is an outhouse (generally unlocked) located behind the church, should you need it when visiting.  The cemetery itself is up a few stairs to the gate, and lies on a fairly steep hill with a few uneven spots in the lawn here and there - use caution when wandering through the cemetery. It is well-kept and a pleasant cemetery to visit, particularly in good weather, with plenty of nice views along the drive there.
** Condition of cemetery as observed on the given date -
may not be representative of care at other times of the year
Scale: Excellent - Good - Fair - Poor - Abandoned
